Our Story
We are two Froebel inspired primary school teachers with combined experience of over 60 years in education. We have a passion for the outdoors and are both Level 3 Forest School qualified. We are excited to welcome you to our unique outdoor learning facility.
We have a beautiful 10 acre sole use woodland in Rettendon Common and a purpose built classroom on site. We want to give children the opportunity to play in a classroom without walls, a place where they can grow and develop at their own pace, nurtured by knowledgeable and supportive adults. The Froebel approach sees children as active, curious, creative learners who learn best through activity, play, talk and self reflection.
