Bishop's is such a wonderful environment for little ones to thrive in nature! The classroom they have created is beautiful and there is so much for the children to enjoy in acres of woodland. I had been taking my son (3) for stay and play sessions for almost a year, and at long last, today he had his first day official day of pre school! The experience has been so positive- Kirsty, Sarah and Emily, as well as his new class mates have made him feel so welcome! He came home beaming about his day. I think his days here will become the highlight of his week!

We did a stay and play session for my twins and there were at least five different areas for them to explore, lots of mud/water kitchen activities, a reading area, a hammock and swing and fire pit. It was brilliant, two hours of fresh air and two tired toddlers after! Really recommend. There are other areas set up for older children too.

Our daughter attended Bishop’s Forest School last weekend. Wow, what a site, the attention to detail and outdoor fun is fantastic! Kirsty and Sarah are knowledgeable and great fun, knowing the right tone for children of all ages! Our daughter particularly enjoyed the size and variety their site afforded, as well as the personal touches with the lovely home made ‘medals’. Can’t wait to come back again soon when it’s going to be even more fantastic- at the hands of these experienced educators. We cannot wait to return!

This school is literally my dream learning environment! As someone who works in higher education, l am constantly impressed by every single thing they do. Whenever my son comes home so happy and shares everything he's done in this wonderful school, with the loveliest people (Kirsty, Sarah and Emily) and friends, I can't help but wish I could attend it myself (if only time travel was possible!)! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, qualified, and kind, and I just want to acknowledge their commitment and thank them for everything they continue to do. They've only just started their school this year, and I can already tell that it will be very difficult to secure a place in the near future.

Fresh air, fabulous surroundings and endless fun. The campfire, s’mores and hot chocolate were a perfect end to a morning of exploring and excitement. What an amazing place to spend time learning and enjoying the great outdoors.

What an amazing site! The care and consideration that has been put into landscaping and activities on offer is beautiful. The ladies, Kirsty and Sarah, are passionate about forest school and a more Froebel centred learning style. My daughter has been going to the Pre School once a week since October and has absolutely thrived. We feel very lucky that we've found Bishop's Forest School in time for her to attend before she starts school this year. The setting is so beautiful and the staff incredibly knowledgeable. So much practical learning about nature and the outdoors, but also very thoughtful activities that get the children ready for school. Her confidence has grown lots and she is excited to go every week. Absolutely amazing pre-school that we can't recommend enough!

We had a brilliant practitioner meeting at Bishop’s Forest School in Rettendon today! It was inspiring to see the results of Sarah and Kirsty’s hard work and determination to get their project running, and interesting to explore the different areas of the site. It was really encouraging to hear how much people value the feeling of community that our group provides, and as usual I came away feeling energised and full of positive thoughts. Today we visited Bishop's Forest School and I was totally blown away with how amazing this place is! After hearing about the creation of this place for so long I was so excited to see it in the flesh and my goodness it was 100 times better than expected. The boys had the most amazing time exploring the grounds and there were some great activities for the kids too! All finished with a nice hot chocolate and roasting s'mores on the fire. Congratulations Sarah and Kirsty on your amazing new forest school. We can't wait to visit again in the future.

We had a wonderful time at Bishop's Forest School Family Session. My grand daughter really enjoyed herself and there was so much for her to do. Kirsty and Sarah were great with her and engaged in lots of different activities with her. We will definitely be going back.

We attended Bishops Forest school on Sunday. Sarah and Kirsty were so welcoming and the whole setting was very idylic. My daughter is 7 and she throughly enjoyed all the activities from crafts to climbing to Easter egg hunts. We loved the sense of adventure that the outdoor areas provided. We can’t wait to return. A lovely, vast and well laid out area where both our children had a great time with the creative activities, making smores around the campfire and exploring the surrounding areas. Can't wait to come again.
